Operations Manager Dairy Ambient

Business Unit Liquid Food (BU LF) is responsible for development and manufacturing of units for processing of dairy, beverage and prepared food applications. We work closely with our clusters to understand customer needs, create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers. BU LF has approx. 460 employees in four main sites: Lund in Sweden, Winsted in USA, Shanghai in China and Pune in India.

As Manager for Operations Engineering Dairy Ambient you will be responsible for managing the engineering team in compliance with the organisations policies and strategies. Secure correct order fulfilment of orders in a seamless and transparent co- operation with market companies. Also, to support other areas within TPPE with Engineering work.





What you will do

As our new Operations Manager Diary Ambient you will focus on:
-Develop and lead the Operations Engineering Dairy Ambient department
-Be the leader of delivering the order projects according to agreed budget and follow up on the result
-Drive customer issues together with Market Company and internal resources
-Balance own resources in coordination with other team's resources and consultants
-Work cross-functional and collaborate with the other BULF sites and share resources
-Be a member of the Operations Engineering Core team to measure and follow up performance and make necessary changes to fulfil long term and short-term targets
-Analyse deviations in work process to suggest improvements


This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena.





Who you are


To be successful in this role you need to be a professional, experienced and team-oriented leader. You have the ability to work pro-actively, to delegate and to motivate a team in a changing environment.

You need to be a self-motivated person with a drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization. You have great networking skills, an ability to work across borders and you are a good collaborator.

You have an Engineering degree and at least 5 years relevant working experience from the processing equipment and food industry. Mechanical, automation and/ or process engineering background is a must. You have some years' experience of team management and are confident in your role as a leader.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish language is considered a plus.
