About the Role

You will step into a visible role at the crossroads of finance, controlling, business development and strategic project management. In this assignment, you will help strengthen how a large international industrial organization governs, plans and follows up its financial performance. You will work across business areas and functions, collaborating with senior stakeholders to improve financial transparency, sharpen decision support and drive strategic initiatives forward.

This role suits you if you enjoy moving between strategy and execution. You will help clarify structures, improve ways of working and create better conditions for investment decisions, reporting and financial follow-up. Job Description

You will lead and develop strategic initiatives within finance and controlling.
You will clarify financial interfaces, roles and responsibilities across organizational units.
You will improve processes for financial planning, reporting, forecasting and follow-up.
You will support prioritization of R&D investments together with relevant business stakeholders.
You will strengthen financial governance, management processes and internal controls.
You will analyze financial data to identify business drivers and opportunities for improvement.
You will improve data quality and increase transparency around financial performance.
You will identify and develop digital and AI-enabled solutions that improve financial processes and decision-making.
You will coordinate finance-related activities for externally funded R&D projects when relevant.
You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across finance, business, R&D and other functions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience within project management combined with finance and/or controlling.
Solid experience within finance, controlling, or financial business development.
Strong competence in financial analysis and accounting.
Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives.
Experience with Power BI or similar analytics and data visualization tools.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

Experience within finance, controlling, or business development in R&D, engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or another complex industrial environment.
Experience with externally funded projects, including EU or national funding.
Knowledge of financial reporting, funding regulations, or audit processes.
Experience working in a large international or matrix organization.
Swedish language skills.
