Principal Cab Simulation and Analysis engineer

As ET leader you are expected to:
•Lead the Global CAE Expertise Team (ET CAE) and to secure Reviews and Knowledge- and Method development
•Manage & support the 3 sub-ET CAE networks (Crash analysis, Durability analysis, NVH)
•Set priorities and agree on the ET CAE yearly plan and deliveries together with the Global Cab AE & Knowledge Management Manager
•Secure ET CAE Knowledge and Methods road map that supports the Product System Roadmaps and Feature Development Plans
•Secure readiness of knowledge and simulation methods to verify virtually the customer and components requirements
•Capture knowledge and ensure knowledge re-use in relevant projects
•Represent CAB Engineering in various forums to secure CAE software and hardware capabilities

Skills:
•In depth knowledge of Cab Structural Simulation and analysis (Simulation process, Software, Multi-discipline approach)
•Expertise within assigned simulation area (Crash or Durability or NVH)
•Extensive and documented structure simulation experience from early concept phases all the way up to the industrialization and maintenance phase
•In depth knowledge in product development working process
•Excellent in global communication and networking
•Structured and ability to lead local and global multi-cultural networks
•Complete vehicle knowledge
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Description
Within Cab Engineering we are now looking for a Principal Simulation and Analysis Engineer within the expertize area of Cab structural Simulation and Analysis (CAE Crash, Durability or NVH).

In this position, you will have two main responsibilities:
•Principal Engineer within “Cab Structural Simulation and Analysis (CAE)” for your assigned simulation area (Crash or Durability or NVH)
•Global Expertise Team (ET) leader for the ET Team “Cab Structure Simulation (CAE)”

Responsibilities
•Be knowledge and methods owner for your assigned simulation area
•Work as structural simulation & analysis engineer and lead the simulation of your area from research/early phases of development to product maintenance. Ensure that feature and component requirements are verified with CAE
•Provide considerable education and provide technical advice for your simulation area to the local cab community
•Initiate and maintain extensive contact with simulation engineers of your expertise area (locally / globally). Participate in simulation method development initiatives
•Network and build relationship with universities and external institutes for your simulation area
