Radiographer – Daytime position in coastal Sweden

Watch our anniversary film (https://vimeo.com/1114843079?share=copy) and join us on our journey!We are currently recruiting two radiographers for a smaller, well-functioning radiology department in coastal central Sweden.This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values modern equipment, close teamwork and a healthy work-life balance, with daytime working hours and no evenings, nights, weekends or public holidays.The departmentThe department is a smaller radiology unit with approximately 10 employees, providing both planned and acute diagnostic imaging in close collaboration with inpatient care and primary care.The facilities have recently been modernised and the department works with new technology, including: Canon CT Samsung conventional X-ray UltrasoundThe team consists of radiographers, assistant nurses, a radiologist and a sonographer.There is also close collaboration with a larger radiology department, providing the opportunity to occasionally gain experience in a setting with a higher acute patient flow.The roleThe position includes standard duties as a radiographer, primarily within: CT Conventional radiography Planned and acute examinationsYou will work closely with radiographers, radiologists, assistant nurses and other healthcare professionals.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00. There are no evening or night shifts, no weekend work, no work on public holidays and no on-call duties.Previous experience as a radiographer is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with CT and conventional radiography is considered particularly valuable. The locationThe hospital is located in a smaller coastal community in central Sweden, with approximately 24,000 inhabitants in the local area.The area combines small-town living with close access to the sea, lakes, countryside and an extensive archipelago. It is particularly well suited to those looking for a quieter lifestyle with good opportunities for outdoor activities and family life.The area offers access to schools and childcare, as well as good transport connections to larger cities.RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate who: Holds an EU-recognised qualification as a Radiographer The profession must be regulated in the country of qualification Currently working in an active clinical role as a radiographer Full legal right to practise independently as a radiographer Is interested in working with CT and conventional radiography Enjoys working as part of a team and has as a professional and patient-centred approach Has good communication skills in English Is motivated to learn Swedish and adapt to the Swedish healthcare system Is interested in establishing a long-term career and life in Sweden Language and relocationSwedish language training starts in your home country through individual online lessons with a private teacher.
