About the Role

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to take ownership of CI/CD infrastructure and automation supporting embedded software development and cloud-based services.

You will work in a technically diverse engineering environment, with a primary focus on maintaining, developing and optimizing a locally hosted CI/CD platform built around Jenkins, Docker and Gerrit.

The role also involves working with Azure DevOps pipelines and deploying web services across AWS and Azure cloud environments.

We are looking for a technically strong professional who can independently drive infrastructure improvements, optimize development workflows and ensure stable, secure and efficient software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. CI/CD Infrastructure & Platform Management

• Maintain, operate and continuously improve the existing CI/CD infrastructure based on Jenkins, Docker and Gerrit.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, security and scalability of build and deployment environments.
• Manage and optimize container-based build environments.
• Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
• Take ownership of the overall CI/CD platform and its continuous development.

2. Jenkins Pipeline Development & Automation

• Develop, maintain and optimize Jenkins pipelines.
• Implement Pipeline-as-Code using Declarative and Scripted Groovy.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins Shared Libraries.
• Build automation solutions using Groovy and Python.
• Integrate automated build, testing and code review workflows.

3. Static Code Analysis & Quality Automation

• Integrate and maintain static code analysis tools within build and code review processes.
• Work with tools such as CodeChecker and cppcheck.
• Improve automated code quality checks and development workflows.
• Ensure static analysis tools are effectively integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

4. Azure DevOps & Cloud Deployment

• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML.
• Manage deployment workflows for web-based services.
• Support application deployment across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Improve automation, reliability and efficiency of cloud deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery.

5. Linux Administration & Technical Support

• Perform Linux system administration and infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD platform issues and resolve technical challenges.
• Document infrastructure architecture, processes and operational procedures.
• Support developers in using CI/CD tools and automation workflows.
• Independently plan, prioritize and execute technical improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Jenkins, including:
• Declarative and Scripted Pipelines.
• Groovy programming.
• Pipeline-as-Code.
• Jenkins Shared Libraries.
• Strong experience with Docker and container-based build environments.
• Experience with Gerrit or equivalent Git-based code review platforms and CI integration.
• Good programming and automation skills using Python.
• Practical experience developing Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing applications across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience integrating static code analysis tools such as CodeChecker, cppcheck or equivalent solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Ability to independently manage technical responsibilities, prioritize activities and drive improvements.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with software development teams.
• Fluent in English and good proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
