Principal Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to design, develop and operate high-quality, cloud-native software services. You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, integrations and distributed systems, collaborating with engineers, Tech Leads and Solution Architects to build scalable, reliable and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering and production applications.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native services.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, distributed systems and data flows.
• 
  
• Experience with GraphQL or similar API technologies.
• 
  
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps and cloud environments.
• 
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• 
  
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 
  
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• 
  
• Valid work authorisation for Sweden, where applicable.

Meritorious: Swedish language skills and experience improving software architecture, reliability and engineering quality.
