Senior Android Software Test Automation Leader – Eskilstuna

We are looking for a Senior Android Software Test Automation Leader to join an innovative engineering team in Eskilstuna, working on next-generation Android-based software platforms for connected and intelligent machines.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing the verification strategy and test automation framework, working hands-on with HIL, Android, embedded systems and CI/CD.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HIL test strategies, test plans and test campaigns
• Design and develop scalable Python/pytest test automation frameworks
• Automate testing of Android applications and Android Auto
• Integrate ECU test environments into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Work with CAN, LIN, Ethernet and Bluetooth
• Configure and execute HIL tests using real-time simulation
• Troubleshoot complex software, hardware and system integration issues
• Collaborate with software, hardware and system engineers in an Agile environment

Your background

We are looking for someone with strong experience in:

• Automotive test automation and HIL
• Python and pytest
• Android / Android Auto testing
• Embedded systems and ECU architectures
• CI/CD and Jenkins
• Automotive communication protocols

Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE and DevOps is a plus.
