Technical Support Leader (TSL) for US-market

We are looking for a Technical Support Leader for our US-market who will be responsible for coordinating Training Services technical support to Saab Inc Support Sites and After Sales function ensuring the long-term technical capability and configuration management of fielded systems. The Technical Support Leader (TSL) will act as the technical interface between the Saab Inc T&S Customer Support organization and their Customers and the Operation Sweden on technical support matters.

The Saab AB T&S Support team for the US market consists of the TSL and a PM for Base line uplifts execution. The TSL is supported by general functions within Operation - Training Services and the wider TSL-team. The TSL will liaise closely with the Training Services Manager and the After Sales Manager at Saab Inc.

Travel is expected in this role. The length and frequency of which depends on the support contract and customer. The role is line managed by Deputy Head of Operations - Training Services.

The TSL must be a good communicator with positive energy, who will take initiative but also work well within a team. The TSL should have an interest in leading people and an ability to create a team where teamwork, group dynamics and well-being are in focus.

As a TSL it is important to work with precision, have a strategic mindset and act proactively. This includes working in an ordered way and possessing a strong business mindset.

The following experience is required:

A technical university degree or equivalent

• Proven experience in fielding or supporting the GAMER product capability
• Good Communication and social skills
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

The following experience is desired:

• ILS experience
• Military experience
• Experience working internationally
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
