Our client is looking for a System Developer to support the continued growth of its operations in Poland. This expansion has created an increased need for technical support, system integrations, and development, particularly as the company continues to establish itself in the Polish market. As Poland is still a relatively new market for the company, fluency in Polish is essential to ensure clear communication and excellent customer support.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

In this role, you will have a central position in a close-knit development team, where you will help build solutions from the ground up and further develop existing systems.

You will work closely with the end customer, giving you a deep understanding of the business’s needs and how the systems are used in practice. This also means short decision-making paths and close dialogue with users, allowing you to quickly see the impact of what you develop.

The company focuses on digitalizing and streamlining the forest industry through data-driven solutions. An important part of the work involves systems connected to GIS (geographic information systems), where data is used, for example, to analyze environmental changes, water levels, and other factors that affect forestry. You will therefore work at the intersection of software development, data analysis, and real-world applications. From a technical perspective, the role primarily involves backend development in C#/.NET, often in cloud-based Microsoft Azure environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and improve cloud-based applications in Microsoft Azure
Work with backend development in C#/.NET or similar programming languages and technologies
Collaborate closely with both internal developers and the customer
Help streamline processes within the forestry industry

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

Has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software development, computer engineering, or another field that the employer considers relevant
Has several years of professional experience in software development
Has professional experience with C#/.NET

It is not necessary, but considered an advantage if you have:

Experience with or an interest in GIS systems
Professional experience from the forest industry
Experience with Python and/or C/C++

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition of both the customer and ourselves is for you to subsequently become permanently employed by the customer company.
