Software Engineer

Intertalents Consulting AB is looking for a Software Engineer Consultant to work on assignment with one of our clients. You will be employed by Intertalents Consulting AB and work closely with the client’s development, product, and business teams.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer Consultant, you will develop, test, and maintain software applications and services based on the client’s technical and business requirements.

You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and developing technical solutions to testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The specific assignment and technical environment may change depending on the client’s needs, but your role will remain focused on software and systems development.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and services
• Build backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data-driven solutions
• Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve existing systems
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Deliver software solutions according to agreed requirements and timelines

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset. You are comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for your assignments, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a consulting environment.

We Believe You Have

• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, and systems development
• Experience with modern programming languages and AI tools for backend or full-stack development, APIs, and databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, automated testing, and CI/CD is considered a strong merit
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
