About the Role

You will take a key role in driving product localization in a global automotive environment, helping ensure that components are introduced into production in line with quality, cost, and timeline targets. This is a cross-functional role where you will work closely with experienced project leaders and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, production, logistics, purchasing, and related business areas.

The role suits you if you enjoy creating structure in complex initiatives and moving work from planning into implementation. You will have a broad interface across the organization and a clear opportunity to influence how localization activities are coordinated and executed. Job Description

You will lead and coordinate localization activities within your technical area.
You will drive the introduction of components into production according to agreed schedules and cost objectives.
You will build alignment across engineering, production, logistics, purchasing, and other functions involved in the localization process.
You will follow project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones, and make sure the right actions are taken at the right time.
You will provide clear status updates and help create shared direction among involved stakeholders.
You will identify improvement opportunities that support more efficient project execution and shorter lead times.

Requirements

BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Several years of experience in product development within the automotive industry.
Solid understanding of product development processes.
Strong technical product knowledge.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, Assignment Leader, or in a similar leadership role.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

Experience from Product Design, Purchasing, Production, Logistics, or Testing and Validation.
Experience working with structured product introduction or localization processes.
