Accountant – Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Interim Accountant for a six-month consulting assignment with an established company in the fashion industry.

This is a broad, hands-on accounting role covering both day-to-day financial operations and general ledger accounting. You will be an important part of the finance team, taking ownership of tasks across AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end closing.

The assignment is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently in a dynamic environment while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing supplier invoices, accounting and payments

• Handling accounts receivable and order-to-cash activities

• Reviewing, verifying and posting employee expense reports

• Registering and reconciling incoming customer payments

• Performing regular bank reconciliations

• Maintaining the general ledger and posting manual journal entries

• Supporting month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations

• Contributing to annual accounts and year-end closing activities

• Providing ad-hoc financial and administrative support to the finance team when required

Required experience and qualifications

To be considered for the assignment, you should have:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a similar finance role

• Experience with annual accounts/year-end closing

• Previous experience from the retail industry

• Strong knowledge of AP, AR and GL accounting

• Hands-on experience with month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Availability to start immediately

• Ability to work 100% on-site in central Stockholm

Preferred qualifications

It is considered an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in a small or medium-sized organisation

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
