The Opportunity
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for registering and following up on customer orders in accordance with Hitachi Energy's processes, policies, and guidelines.
Our customers are located across the globe, making it essential to understand and stay up to date with country-specific requirements, regulations, and customer agreements. The scope of the role ranges from managing smaller spare parts orders to handling larger and more complex orders involving both products and services.
This position offers great variety and the opportunity to work closely with customers and colleagues across multiple functions, ensuring smooth order execution and high customer satisfaction.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth order execution from order entry to final invoicing.
- Drive and coordinate the order management process using SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure high-quality and accurate order handling in line with customer agreements and internal requirements.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to secure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Manage purchasing activities and proactively monitor material deliveries to support successful project execution.
- Handle invoicing and payment follow-up, ensuring a smooth and efficient financial flow.
- Take an active role in developing and improving processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team environment.

Your background
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Order Management, Sales Support, Purchasing, Logistics, or Finance.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is required.
- Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
- An educational background in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders across the organization.
- A proactive and structured approach, with a natural sense of ownership and accountability.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a strong drive for continuous development, with a willingness to embrace new challenges, broaden skills, and contribute to improvements.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is considered an advantage.
