SAP S Four HANA Solution Architect

One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for an SAP S Four HANA Solution Architect, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You can connect an SAP design decision with the business process, integration boundary and operating consequence it creates.

The partner is preparing or delivering a major SAP S Four HANA transformation. You will lead solution architecture across core processes, extensions, data and integrations while protecting a maintainable standard platform.

The work spans organisational boundaries and requires both technical understanding and disciplined communication. Decisions must remain useful when they reach delivery teams, suppliers and operational owners.

You will work across teams with different incentives, technical histories and decision rights. The partner expects concise preparation, visible dependencies and follow through after meetings. Strong performance means that people understand what was decided, why it matters and what they now own.

This is a leadership role with hands on responsibility for direction, decisions and the capability of others. You will create enough structure for teams to move independently, while stepping into detail when risk or ambiguity demands it. The partner wants visible ownership without unnecessary hierarchy.

• Define end to end SAP solution architecture.

• Guide fit to standard decisions and controlled extensions.

• Align process, data, integration and security designs.

• Review major configuration and development choices.

• Plan transition from legacy solutions and technical debt.

• Communicate architecture decisions across business and delivery partners.

• Extensive SAP solution architecture experience.

• Hands on knowledge of S Four HANA and several core modules.

• Strong integration and master data understanding.

• Experience in a large transformation programme.

• Ability to challenge customisation using business evidence.

• Professional English and senior stakeholder credibility.

• RISE with SAP or cloud transition.

• Manufacturing, logistics, finance or asset management processes.

• Architecture across several countries or business units.

You may have developed from functional consulting, technical architecture or programme solution leadership. The partner needs someone who can move between process detail and the coherence of the complete SAP landscape.

This is a high influence role in a transformation with long term consequences. You will help the partner make choices that support both implementation delivery and the cost of operating SAP after go live.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
