About the Role

Norvion Systems AB is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior DevOps Developer to join our team in Gothenburg for a consultant assignment. In this role, you will work with cloud-based connected-vehicle services used by a global automotive customer, contributing across the complete service lifecycle—from backend development and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development & Automation: Develop and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Write Python and operational automation scripts to optimize engineering workflows.
• Cloud Platform & Containers: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS and cloud-native platforms.
• CI/CD & Delivery: Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern Git workflows for continuous delivery.
• Observability & Operational Monitoring: Oversee centralized logging, monitoring, metrics, and alerting to track production system health and service behavior.
• Incident Response & Optimization: Lead production troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis, implementing proactive improvements to avoid recurrence.
• Distributed Architecture Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of highly available distributed systems, ensuring resilient cloud service operations.

Requirements

• DevOps & Software Engineering: Senior-level experience across software development, cloud operations, and production infrastructure.
• Backend & Scripting Languages: Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, alongside practical Python and scripting expertise.
• Cloud & Container Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
• CI/CD & Observability Tooling: Solid technical capabilities in continuous integration/delivery, monitoring systems, and incident response.
• Location & Presence: Ability to work hybrid/regularly onsite at our office in Gårda, Gothenburg.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English (both written and verbal).
