MES Project Leader

You will step into a key role in a large industrial transformation where a new production facility is being established and a modern MES platform is becoming a central part of the production landscape. The assignment sits at the intersection of IT, production, logistics, and business operations, with a clear focus on turning complex requirements into a solution that works in practice on the shop floor.

In this role, you will drive the implementation forward from planning to readiness for Go Live, working closely with internal stakeholders and external system suppliers. You will be part of an environment where many dependencies need to come together, which makes this a strong opportunity if you enjoy leading complex change and creating real impact in digital production.

• You will lead and coordinate a team working with MES and related system initiatives.
• You will plan and follow up deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies across parallel workstreams.
• You will drive the development and implementation of the MES solution together with the system supplier.
• You will lead the project through integration testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• You will facilitate workshops, decision forums, and cross-functional discussions to move the work forward.
• You will ensure that requirements from production, quality, and logistics are captured and implemented correctly.
• You will coordinate dependencies between MES, SAP/ERP, and production-related systems.
• You will support change management, communication, and user readiness ahead of Go Live.
• You will create progress and alignment across stakeholders in a complex and fast-moving environment.

• Proven experience leading complex IT or system implementation projects.
• Experience from MES implementations or similar production-related systems.
• Good understanding of how MES, SAP/ERP, and production systems interact.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external system suppliers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive progress and decision-making in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

• Experience from large-scale factory transformations.
• Experience from production digitalization initiatives.
• Experience from major Go Live programs.
