Indirect Procurement Specialist – IT Category

Your New Role

We are now looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist within the IT category to support a strategic project for a large international energy company. You will be part of a multidisciplinary programme team and take ownership of sourcing activities that are critical to the programme’s timeline, Day-1 readiness and the mobilization of the future organization.

The role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, while operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities, dependencies and requirements can evolve quickly.

Key responsibilities:



Conduct an IT category and supplier market analysis, identifying relevant services, capabilities and potential suppliers required by the programme.



Translate business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into practical sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans.



Prepare, coordinate and issue RFI, RFQ and RFP documentation in collaboration with relevant business, IT, Legal, Security and Procurement stakeholders.



Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies and key decisions in alignment with the integrated IT programme roadmap.



Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models and scoring structures, ensuring transparent and well-structured supplier evaluations.



Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations and the preparation of commercial recommendations.



Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilization and handover.



Maintain a consolidated overview of supplier selection status, timelines, commercial assumptions, risks and key decisions.



Provide procurement input to programme reporting, budget discussions and Steering Committee decision material.



Support collaboration with the company’s Indirect Procurement function and the future procurement organization.



Provide professional advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement, contracts and sourcing-related matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need:



A relevant university or college degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, IT or a related field.



Experience within IT procurement, indirect procurement or strategic sourcing.



Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge commercial, technical and business perspectives.



High integrity and sound judgement, particularly when handling commercially sensitive and confidential information.
