Indirect Procurement Specialist – IT Category

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist within the IT Category for a strategic transformation assignment in Stockholm. This is an opportunity for a procurement professional who combines strong commercial expertise with an understanding of IT sourcing, supplier markets and complex transformation programmes.

You will play a key role in driving sourcing activities, securing critical project timelines and preparing the future organisation for successful supplier mobilisation and delivery.

As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will independently manage procurement activities for goods and services and work closely with stakeholders across business, IT, architecture, security and transformation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing procurements, supplier follow-ups and supplier evaluations.

• Advising internal stakeholders on contracts, procurement processes, direct procurements and framework agreement call-offs.

• Conducting IT category and supplier-market scans.

• Translating business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans.

• Coordinating LUF RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, including milestones, dependencies and decisions.

• Developing commercial models, evaluation criteria and scoring structures.

• Supporting supplier evaluation, shortlisting and clarification meetings.

• Leading or supporting negotiations and developing commercial recommendations.

• Supporting contracting, supplier onboarding, mobilisation and handover.

• Tracking supplier status, timelines, commercial assumptions, risks and decisions.

• Providing procurement input to programme reporting, budgets and Steering Committee materials.

• Participating in working groups and procurement-related investigations.

• Coordinating with relevant procurement functions and the future organisation.

We are looking for someone who combines strong procurement expertise with commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

You have:

• A relevant university or college degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• The ability to constructively challenge and align commercial, technical and business perspectives.

• Strong analytical and structuring skills, with attention to detail.

• The ability to ensure transparency and auditability in procurement decisions.

• A pragmatic and delivery-oriented approach, balancing procurement quality, governance and compliance with programme deadlines.

• The ability to prioritise, create structure and maintain momentum in fast-changing environments with multiple dependencies and incomplete information.

• A self-driven and collaborative working style and the ability to work independently as well as in multidisciplinary programme teams.

• High integrity and sound judgement when handling commercially sensitive and confidential information.

You are likely to succeed if you are comfortable taking ownership of complex IT sourcing activities while collaborating with stakeholders from several different disciplines. You enjoy turning requirements into structured sourcing strategies and can move procurement processes forward without compromising governance, quality or compliance.
