Sourcing Lead Spare Parts

The Sourcing Leader will work as the owner for sourcing of spare parts within the Life Sciences Hardware Purchase Family. These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives within the Purchase Family.

Essential Responsibilities :

Leading the development & execution of sourcing strategies for spare parts - this includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance
Leading sourcing execution for spare parts business with assigned Life Sciences Hardware suppliers, including full accountability for meeting deflation targets
Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met
Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material meet the needs of the business
Driving improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and database management
Drive strategic initiatives to ensure optimal cost productivity, fulfillment, and obsolescence/life-cycle management

Qualifications/Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering technical discipline, business administration or supply chain (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
Significant experience in sourcing, manufacturing, logistics or engineering
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package
Fully fluent in English (written and spoken)
Applicable work permit
