• University degree preferably in engineering and/or business
• Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken
• Minimum 5 years of experience from International business within Purchasing or Sales PLANNING, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PURCHASING

Position description

We are looking for a Lead Buyer, who will set the Global Strategy for the Fuel Injection Equipment and Pistons Commodities. Areas of responsibility:
• Manage the supplier relationships and performance (quality, delivery, feature and cost) for the entire product life cycle (project, sourcing, operational) and co-operate cross-functionally to achieve best solution
• Perform the activities required for the portfolio: e.g. negotiations, sourcing, re-sourcing, projects, optimize the total cost (Quality, logistics, engineering, manufacturing, etc.)
• Work in accordance with the Volvo Penta processes, the Volvo values and behaviors
