We at Volvo Penta Purchasing are expanding our Electromobility group and are looking for a Senior Buyer that will handle the scope of Batteries known as Energy Storage System (ESS) and selected Electromobility systems. Could it be you? Join us and make a difference!

What will you work with as Senior Buyer for Batteries and Systems within Electromobility?

To give you an idea of what a day might look like this will be your overall tasks:
You will be responsible for supplier scouting, early phase sourcing and initiating partnership negotiations
You will be leading all purchasing activities related to involvement of suppliers in technology development
You will consolidate and drive business approach in the portfolio. You will be responsible for having the global expertise on all QDCFTSR aspects. QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management
You will also be responsible for identifying and implement synergies with other Business Areas
