Senior Test engineer Driving Performance

We believe that you have:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher
Good experience from the automotive industry in the verification, validation area
Basic Matlab knowledge
Good abilities to work and communicate with multiple partners (engineer, mechanics, rig operator…)
Knowledge in fuel consumption measurement is an advantage
Knowledge in Chassis Dyno is an advantage
Knowledge of acquisition tools (such as Vision, Inca, Comtest) is an advantage
Truck Driving license is an advantage

There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the Driving Performance Team as a Testing Engineer for Fuel Economy, Average Speed and Drivability.

Driving performance defines, verifies and validates customer features focusing on enhancement of vehicle lifetime productivity. The team´s main goal is to sustain and strengthen our leading position on heavy duty trucks around the globe.

Position description
As a test engineer your mission is to plan, verify, tune and report Driving Performance technical feature according to project requirements. You will verify system and modules performances from Powertrain and Vehicle engineering. You will lead and coordinate testing in Chassis Dyno at complete vehicle level. You will lead development of methods in Chassis Dyno with focus on customer application.

As a Test engineer your responsibility is to:

In Projects:
Support Feature leader in Test Request definition
Call for sign off with all impacted commodities
Plan and execute tests
Post process test results including analysis and Feature conclusion
Deliver engineering reports with clear status, recommendation and proposals for improvements
Issue Fault reports when necessary
For competence development and knowledge
Define strategies and develop test methods for new technologies in Chassis Dyno such as Hybrid/Electric drivelines
Contribute in correlation work between Chassis Dyno fuel consumption testing and Fuel simulations
