Our Design engineering department is responsible for mechanical design and electrical control system for the whole driveline system. In our management team you will find an open mind-set and value creation focus and we are now looking for the manager for our Light duty engine platform department.

The Light duty engine platform team is a committed and proud team with responsibility for development and support of the Volvo Penta developed and purchased engines, throughout the whole product lifecycle.

Job description:
Lead and inspire the light duty engine platform team by developing each person as well as the team
Full engineering responsibility of the light duty engine platform products and it´s features, product behaviour and performance in the hands of customer as well as being the centre of topics concerning your technical area
Secure the delivery to meet or even exceed customer expectations and project targets
Keep a holistic view of our products and contribute to product strategies and technology roadmaps
Take an active part in Design engineering management team and drive improvements both on team level and on organization level
Financial responsibility for department budget as well as smaller projects
