Director, GTP Controlling Production and Service material Cost

Background and Experience:
5 years minimum on a similar business control position in an international environment
Successful Leading people previous experience
Master degree in Finance/Business control or successful past experiences in business control area The Purchasing Controlling department (within Group Trucks Purchasing function) assures high quality data to help the Purchasing organization take the right decisions to achieve company strategic objectives. Controllers are taking a proactive approach by challenging Purchasing with qualitative performance analysis to point out areas which need to be improved.
Bought materials represent ~70% of truck standard cost of production. Monitoring this spend is crucial to secure group cost strategic objectives target.

Responsibilities:
As Director, GTP Controlling Production and Service material Cost, you will lead a global team of controllers and functional leaders in charge of material variances and other purchasing material cost performance indicators. You will also the finance business partner for the Volvo Trucks brands handling monthly performance reviews and estimates communication
Lead the continuous development of material cost related performance indicators and material price variances from start of production to product end of life
Secure and further develop high competence level of the team to achieve department target image in term of deliveries and contribution
Drive and foster a holistic, bottom line mindset
Drive and develop cross-functional collaboration with other line organizations involved in material cost tracking process
Active member of the Controlling management team

You will report to the SVP, GTP Controlling.
