Finance Administrator for Accounts Payable and Treasury

We are now looking for a Finance Administrator for Accounts Payable and Treasury to join Fisher, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. You will be located in our state-of-the-art, newly built Gothenburg office and warehouse where approximately 50 employees work together. What you’ll do

As Finance Administrator you are responsible for input and processing accounts payable invoices and cash posting. You will ensure accuracy, compliancy, and timeliness of supplier payments as well as provide problem solving skills and successfully handle supplier and associate issues and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing approvals, coding, matching and entry of invoices and credit notes in a timely manner per corporate policies and procedures and in compliance with the approval authority matrix
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments to suppliers
• Reconcile supplier accounts on an ongoing basis. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues within the established best practice guidelines
• Work closely and communicate with purchasing, receiving, costing, general ledger and other departments to ensure accounts payable guidelines and controls are in place and adhered to and quickly resolve issues and / or concerns.

How you’ll get there

To enjoy this role you should be motivated, results-driven, efficient and detail-oriented. Meeting deadlines is not problematic for you. You have clear understanding of and ability to manage accounts payable functions and experience in coordinating accounts payable processes. You enjoy working independently and have strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. You are not afraid of using Excel and Word and you communicate effectively in Swedish and English.
