Material Specialist

In this role you are the front-end contact towards our suppliers with the main target to ensure continuous material flow to our manufacturing lines. Your dedication and strive is a key element in the success of meeting customer expectations.
You will work in cross functional teams together with Material leaders and Production planners to mitigate material issues and improve business processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Overall ownership of material ordering and availability
• Daily shortage and other material root cause investigation and resolution
• Daily communication with suppliers and production
• Follow up and improve Supplier Performance – On time Delivery and Quality
• Re-schedule material in/out to obtain fulfillment and inventory levels

Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School diploma – Business administration, economy, logistics or similar (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
• Proven experience from manufacturing environment primarily within Materials, Planning or Logistics
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Ability to work independent with high focus on goals

Desired Characteristics:
• Bachelor’s Degree in economy, business administration, logistics or similar (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
• APICS or equivalent certification
