Kitchen Production Manager, IKEA Jönköping

About you
We are looking for a passionate leader who can bring business and people together. You have the ability to empower, support and coach your co-workers on the job and help them perform better. As a person you see business opportunities and have the ability to act on new ideas as well as following the IKEA concept.

To succeed in this role we think it is of great value that you have previous experience of running your own restaurant or similar responsibility. You have experience from food production and food safety. But most important is that you have a customer focus, have good people and leadership skills and want to do business! If you have this, we can help you with the actual knowledge about food, safety and the IKEA concept. You are used to creating and executing action plans and are good at prioritising and organising your work and the work of others.

It’s all about attracting visitors to the stores, encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food with quality at the lowest prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge. You do this through your ability to lead and inspire a big team along with your deep knowledge and passion for the IKEA Food range.

About the assignment
You work together with your colleagues in the IKEA Food management team and lead and manage your kitchen production team towards set goals. Together with your team you provide irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives our guests a good reason to return again and again.
IKEA Svenska Försäljnings AB is responsible for the retail activities in Sweden, channelled through 20 stores from Haparanda to Malmö, a customer service centre/home shopping centre in Älmhult, and a Service Office in Helsingborg. We are approximately 6,500 employees in total. IKEA Kungens Kurva is the world’s largest IKEA store with around 900 co-workers.
