Global Logistics Developer

To be successful in this role we believe that you have;
• A university degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience
• Experience in leading and developing people from a matrix perspective within a global organisation
• Solid knowledge of customers, suppliers, materials, production flow, capacity planning and supply chain cost drivers
• Experience of different logistics tools within planning and delivery processes
• Ability to create network and to navigate multiple stakeholders
• Excellent English communication skills
• Capability to lead yourself in an unknown environment
• Ability to be self-driven and manage several projects simultaneously
• Curiosity and bring energy, drive and commitment As a Global Logistics Developer you will work together with the purchase development logistics matrix and lead/contribute to initiatives that aim to secure high and stable availability at the lowest cost. You will be an important player in strengthening the logistics competence agenda by facilitating logistics competence sharing across Category Areas, and you will be the matrix manager for the New Business Supply Planners.
You will work in a global and remote context and lead/contribute to different projects on behalf of the Purchase Development Logistics matrix.
You will be an active member of the Purchase Development Logistics team and expected to be an ambassador of the IKEA values and a role model for fact-based business leadership

You will report to the Purchase Development Logistics Manager and will be located in Älmhult, Sweden
