Qualifications
Professional Purchasing qualification. 5-10 years of experience from sourcing in international environment
Proven leadership skills for a supply chain organization
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Target oriented and achievement driven
Business mindset/Strong commercial acumen
University/college graduated .

The P&SM Site Manager position is today shared between Arvika and Hallsberg.

From Jan 2019, there will be one P&SM Manager position in Hallsberg and also one in Arvika.

In Arvika, we therefore have an open challenging position in which:

You will lead and develop the P&SM function within the location, and manage all P&SM personnel on site.

You will lead the local P&SM activities to meet the overall Volvo CE P&SM objectives and to drive the best value (Quality, Delivery and Cost) from Suppliers throughout the product life cycle.

The P&SM Site Manager is a member of the P&SM EU Operations Management Team and reports to the Director of P&SM EU Operations.

Responsibilities (Within given commodities)
Execute and support the Volvo CE P&SM objectives/Site objectives
Secure supplier capacity and supply in order to reach disturbance free production
Contribute to the P&SM cost saving targets
Secure material procurement for New Development Projects (QDC) and continue driving the Right First Time approach
Secure material procurement for Product Maintenance activities
Manage the competence development of direct reporting personnel
Ensure Stakeholder alignment, and further develop the relations with Technology and Operations
Drive change towards High Performance culture
Attend and represent P&SM in Arvika Site-meetings
