R&D Team Manager – Mechanical Systems and Mechatronics

You hold a MSc or a PhD in relevant area combined with several years’ working experience, preferably in project and/or people management. It is also highly valuable if you have prior experience in R&D managerial role. Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike.

As Team Manager you will lead a team of about 20 skilled and engaged research and development scientists. We execute a variety of international projects involving multi-disciplinary teams of experts. Our main focuses are in robotics and rotating machinery mechanics. Our specific expertise lies in the area of industrial robotics, machine design, dynamics, and sensors & electronics. Your mission will be to identify and develop our R&D strategy, new concepts, technologies, technology platforms and intellectual property, as well as develop our team through managing our people, competence and lab infrastructure. Other parts of your responsibilities will be to:
• contribute in team research projects
• manage and coordinate team resources in alignment with strategic directions
• monitor the execution of all R&D projects and ensure on-time completion and high quality results
• enhance cross collaboration with teams and external partners and secure the commitment from key stakeholders for strategic directions
