Bid Manager, FACTS

As Bid Manager, you are customer focused and results oriented. You are a leader and ready to motivate your team to produce winning tenders. Strong communication skills and understanding of different cultures is essential for this position.
Since you will be responsible and the focal point for driving and finalizing the tender it is important that you are a well-established leader with the capability to handle short timeframes. Furthermore you are used to interacting and negotiating with customers, partners and suppliers. As a foundation, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have experience from working with technology and sales. Fluency in English is a must, whereas Spanish, Portuguese or other languages are qualifying. This position will give you the chance to work with FACTS tenders to our customers around the world. As the Bid Manager for a specific tender, you will lead the tender team to develop a winning tender in line with the overall sales strategies. You will lead a team of engineers, supply chain managers and other functions, working closely with our customers, management, the global sales organization and our suppliers. The Bid Manager is overall responsible for the tender both commercially and technically within FACTS. You will be part of FACTS, a business unit within Power Grids division. FACTS technology enables
power systems owners to increase the capacity of their existing power systems while improving
electrical stability at the same time. The end results is more electrical power can reach consumers with minimal environment impact after shorter project times and at lower investment costs. This pioneering technology is developed at the FACTS unit in Västerås and sold to customers worldwide.
