OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor or Master of Science, preferable within the area of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;
• 2-5 years of experience in software development;
• Good programming skills in C;
• Good knowledge in working with MATLAB Simulink, PLC programming;
• Previous experience in Safety related SW development would be a plus;
• Takes responsibility for own work, great team member, structured and analytical way of working;
• English at a fluent level and Swedish at a beginner level is mandatory.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the TCMS Software Engineer is to develop and maintain software within the train control management system (TCMS) products.
The position includes the following areas of work: understanding requirements, design specification, implementation and verification, customer focus, support and business improvement.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
• Be responsible for safety and non-safety critical software development;
• Ensure that the code is properly stored and built in the configuration management environment;
• Participate upon request in technical Change Control Board (CCB);
• Write/update technical requirements specification, architecture and design specification and test specifications;
• Establish and maintain needed test environment;
• Write/correct source code;
• Be responsible with the quality measures for the source code (design, peer reviews of code, static code analysis, unit tests);
• Document the test results (informal/formal) and support test team (i.e. with reviews, defect identification);
