Cloud Engineer

We are now looking for a Cloud engineer who will join the development and maintenance organization for sites and applications in the Sales Online and Marketing division, such as xx.com. The assignment is full time and based at our IT-department in Stockholm, Liljeholmen/Marievik where we have an activity based workplace/enivorment.

You will join our “Division DevOps team". It is a small team with a Scrum master and few Cloud and CI/CD engineers.

XX IT has a strong drive to and clear strategy on moving to cloud, and this team is critical on that journey. We help other development teams by supporting their onboarding and migration to cloud. Choosing products, tooling, flows, and setting up the basics for the teams to finalize and maintain.

Moving to cloud often involves changes to ways of working, so we work in collaboration with Dev teams and Operations. Sometimes teams go cloud native and full DevOps and sometimes we assist in a lift-and-shift.

You have experience from similar roles and working with at least one Cloud provider, preferably Azure.

You know the principles and practicalitites of setting up CI/CD pipelines, in cloud or on premise.

Your primary tasks are:

Work in close collaboration with other teams in the Sales Online division
Onboard new systems / applications to Cloud
Improve our deployment methods to the Cloud, including CI/CD
Understanding service concepts in the Cloud
Working with infrastructure as code
Working alongside the development teams to ship new features / solutions as smooth as possible
Take part in evaluating and recommending new tools, software, or practices that contribute to overall improvements
Be an ambassador for our Cloud Journey
