Project Manager

You have a minimum 3 years’ experience of professionally managing partial or full scope for HVDC or sub-station or large-product projects and have strong deriving force, commercial mindset, goal orientation, customer-focus and a reasonable technical background. You should have proficiency in Swedish and English languages. Additional language skills will be an advantage. As project manager you have the comprehensive responsibility for project execution, budget, time schedule, project scope & changes, project team management and effective communication with both internal & external stakeholders. You will be the customer voice into our organization and will secure customer satisfaction and achievement of overall project goals. Our Projects are global and multidisciplinary and deal with partial as well as comprehensive upgrading of existing HVDC projects. The size of projects varies from 10 – 250 MUSD. You will be part of GPG HVDC Service within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used, among other things, to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
