Your mission
As a Business Controller for Rock Tools Supply, you have a key role in analyzing, reporting, consolidating and forecasting the results of our supply organization and the production units within our division. You utilize your competencies in structuring, validating and explaining numbers into accurate and timely financial data for our key stakeholders. You provide both ad hoc and proactive analyses related to the results, costs and KPI development of our production units, and you openly communicate financial consequences. With your mentoring approach, you support and lead the way for other controllers within our division, and you ensure excellent teamwork in our networks. Additionally, you are an integral part of preparing investment strategies in the production units, where you review and approve investment business cases within your limits of authority and present bigger investments to the next level of management. Regular and important parts of your assignment also include monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.

All in all, you actively work to meet and improve the financial requirements of our Rock Tools Supply, and you ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as integrity in our accounting and financial processes. This position is based in Sandviken, Sweden, close to the Rock Tools Supply Management team, as well as to the Division Management team.

Your character
We are looking for someone with a Master’s in Finance or Business Administration, combined with at least seven years’ experience from accounting and controlling in an international environment, preferably within manufacturing. Your strong commitment to the area and understanding of customer needs, make you a perfect fit for this position. As we act on the global stage, you need excellent verbal and written skills in English, and proficiency in Swedish would be of benefit, while not a requirement.

To succeed in this role, we also believe that you have:
• Experience from production economics
• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience from financial systems such as BPC, SAP and MS Office
• A good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS), where specific knowledge of Sandvik’s internal principles is beneficial
• Preferred experience from database construction and implementing business systems
