Your New Role

We are looking for a driven and analytical Portfolio Planner to join a global organization in Lund. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening portfolio planning, improving processes and creating data-driven solutions that support better strategic and operational decision-making.

As a Portfolio Planner, you will take ownership of identifying gaps and improvement opportunities across portfolio processes, data and tools. You will work proactively from identifying challenges and analyzing bottlenecks through to designing solutions and supporting their implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:



Identifying gaps and underperforming processes and driving improvement initiatives from analysis through to implementation readiness.



Maintaining and developing an integrated portfolio roadmap aligned with business needs and relevant stakeholders.



Creating clear and transparent portfolio visualizations, including programme and project views, organizational workload, KPIs, decisions and financial perspectives.



Benchmarking external organizations and practices to identify new improvement opportunities.



Supporting governance forums with data-driven insights and recommendations.



Ensuring accuracy and quality in portfolio dashboards, KPIs and status reporting.



Collecting, organizing and preparing data from multiple sources for analysis and decision-making.



Optimizing data management and data flows to support different business needs.



Designing and developing advanced Power BI dashboards for portfolio reporting and KPI follow-up.



Creating automation workflows using Power Automate and VBA to streamline and improve processes.



Optimizing data flows between systems such as SAP, PlanView and other portfolio management tools.



Supporting the implementation and integration of new tools and systems with minimal disruption to existing operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:



A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Finance or another relevant field.



At least 3–5 years of experience within portfolio planning, project management, strategic planning or a similar area.



Experience and understanding of organizational processes, systems and portfolio management tools.



Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile ways of working.



Experience working with tools and systems such as PlanView and SAP.



Familiarity with financial planning and budgeting processes.



Advanced skills in Power BI development.



Advanced knowledge of Power Automate.



Experience in creating VBA scripts to improve and automate Excel-based processes.



Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
