Production Engineer, Assembly

About the Role

You will help improve and develop assembly operations in an advanced manufacturing environment where both daily production performance and long-term expansion are in focus. The role spans an existing production facility as well as the development of a new production site, giving you the chance to work with both immediate improvements and future-ready production setups.

You will be close to the business and work with production teams, line technicians, operators and support functions to strengthen safety, quality and delivery. This is a role for you who like combining hands-on problem-solving with structured production development, and it offers a great opportunity to influence how assembly lines are built and optimized.

Job Description

You will develop and optimize assembly processes, working methods and production flows.
You will support daily production by solving technical and process-related challenges.
You will create and improve assembly instructions and PFMEA.
You will define the tools and equipment needed at each workstation and help ensure the right setup is in place.
You will coordinate activities and priorities together with line managers and other support functions.
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of assembly lines in a new manufacturing facility.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer.
M.Sc. in Production Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.
Strong experience in production, problem-solving and project management.
Good knowledge of ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of Lean / World Class Manufacturing.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
You work in a structured and proactive way and are comfortable taking ownership of improvements and deliveries.
