About the Role

You will take ownership of base software for ECU or inverter solutions in advanced powertrain projects focused on sustainable mobility. The environment spans hybrid engine control systems as well as fully electric powertrains, which means you will work close to complex technology with real impact on future mobility. You will collaborate with skilled software and hardware engineers, architects, and suppliers to turn technical requirements into robust solutions. This is a strong opportunity if you want to work close to both architecture and execution in a demanding automotive setting.

Job Description

You will own the software component within your project and act as the main point of contact for the product area you are responsible for.
You will lead and coordinate Base Software development for ECUs or inverters through different phases of the project.
You will work with customer requirements and turn them into efficient technical solutions together with suppliers and internal engineering teams.
You will secure deliveries toward supplier and customer while balancing technology, cost, and timing.
You will collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers, Group Project Leaders, and BaseTech Architects.
You will distribute requirements to function owners and plan implementation according to specification.

Requirements

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar relevant experience.
You have experience in Base Software development for products such as ECM, inverters, TCM, or similar.
You have the technical understanding needed to work with requirements and drive implementation in cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
You communicate fluently in Swedish, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Autosar.
Knowledge of application software and integration.
Experience from cross-functional development where software and hardware work closely together.
