Graphic Designer Packaging & Product Graphics

We are looking for a Graphic Designer for a full-time consultancy assignment with an international product company in Malmö. This opportunity is suitable for a junior-to-mid-level designer with strong visual design skills and proven experience in packaging design, product graphics and print-ready production materials.

You will join a global design team and develop graphic solutions for physical products and customer-facing materials—from early concepts to final production and market launch.

About the assignment

- Developing concepts and graphic solutions for product packaging.

- Creating and evolving packaging design systems and templates.

- Creating product graphics, labels and markings in close collaboration with Industrial Design.

- Developing concepts and designs for in-box literature, such as guides, instructions and other materials included with products.

- Updating and quality-assuring existing in-box literature and printed materials.

- Producing technical illustrations and drawings for use across different media and customer touchpoints.

- Preparing print-ready artwork, specifications and production materials for external suppliers.

- Creating templates and graphic assets for presentations, posters and other printed media.

- Collaborating with Design, Marketing, Procurement, Logistics, external suppliers and international teams.

- Contributing to improved tools, methods and best practices within Graphic Design.

We are looking for someone with

- A university degree in Graphic Design or another relevant design discipline.

- A few years of relevant experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a corporate design team or reputable design consultancy.

- Recent and documented experience in packaging design—this is an essential requirement.

- Experience taking design solutions from initial concept and exploration through production and commercialisation.

- The ability to prepare production-ready artwork and communicate effectively with external suppliers.

- Experience in product graphics, labels, printed materials or technical illustrations.

- Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams, organisations and countries.

- A good understanding of design thinking and how research and user insights can inform design decisions.

- Fluent spoken and written English.

- Experience from international design projects or products within smart home technology, consumer electronics or security solutions is considered an advantage.
